Playsam streamliner classic, green line organic

The Streamliner is a simple wooden model car that functions as a colourful, tactile and robust plaything for children and an aesthetic object for adults. Its simple wooden form and smooth, sensual finish embody the Swedish design philosophy for beauty and function on a human scale. The Streamliner made its first appearance at the Nuremberg Toy Fair in 1985. In 1998 the Playsam Streamliner was selected a Swedish Design Classic by a jury from the Swedish Form Council and the National Museum of Fine Arts. In 2004 the Streamliner was selected as one of six Swedish design classics to adorn a Swedish stamp.

An eco addition to Playsam's Phaidon Classic. Green Line Organic is an unpainted version of the classic Streamliner series. The cars are made from German beech wood with a natural finish of non-toxic lacquer. The award winning packaging is made from 100% recycled fiber.
