Industrial designer José M. Reina defines his clocks as items of furniture that mark time and are capable of measuring the rhythm of their existence. A traditional element in the home, Reina felt the clock had been neglected – chairs and tables evolved but the clock remained relatively unchanged and somewhat forgotten. Through careful selection and innovative application of materials, Reina's inspirational timepieces are redefining the limits of the clock and restoring it back to its proper place as a centerpiece and a way to mark the passing of time with style. The OJ (2001) is a new concept in wall clock; it is completely silent and has a cutting-edge look that's versatile and minimalist. The self-adhesive hour markers make the OJ easy to install and customizable to your wall space; simply position the markers closer together or further apart. Powered by one AA battery (not included). Assembly required. Made in Spain.
