DWR Matelassé Blanket

Inspired by the facades of mid-century buildings, the pattern on this Blanket echoes those made by screen blocks (pierced decorative concrete blocks) that were used for sun protection. The result is a quilted blanket that has the simplicity of a traditional matelassé, but with an updated twist that makes it sophisticated and modern. To create DWR Bedding (2011), we teamed up with Judy White, who has designed tabletop and giftware for Calvin Klein. Machine washable. Made in Italy.
